I was charged after cancelling

Last updated August 13, 2026

Nutrola subscriptions are billed by Apple, by Google, or, for purchases made on our website, by Stripe. A charge after you cancelled is almost always explainable. The most common reasons are that the plan renewed before you cancelled, the charge covers a period you already started, a different account or payment method is the one subscribed, or a second subscription from another platform is still running. Here's how to check and what to do.

Why was I charged after cancelling?

  • You cancelled after the plan renewed. Cancelling stops the next renewal, it does not refund the current period. If the renewal already went through before you cancelled, that charge stands and you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
  • The charge is for a period you already started. Subscriptions bill at the start of each billing cycle, so the charge you see may be for the cycle that just began.
  • A different account is subscribed. You may be signed into one Apple Account or Google account on your device while the subscription lives on another account (for example, a family member's). Premium is locked even though I subscribed (account mismatch)
  • A shared payment method. If you share a payment method with family or use Ask to Buy, a Nutrola charge can appear on a family member's payment method even though the subscription itself is tied to one account.
  • A website subscription is still active. If you ever subscribed on nutrola.app as well as through a store, cancelling one does not cancel the other. Website charges appear on your bank statement as LINK.COM NUTROLA*, in your local currency. Check yours at nutrola.app/account. Cancel a subscription bought on the Nutrola website

How do I check the charge?

iPhone / iPad (App Store):

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Find Nutrola and check its status and the renewal or expiration date.

Android (Google Play):

  1. Open the Play Store app and tap your profile icon.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Find Nutrola and check its status and dates.

Website (nutrola.app):

  1. Go to nutrola.app/account and sign in.
  2. Your subscription status and end date are shown on the page.
  3. Manage or cancel subscription opens a secure billing page with your full invoice history.

The exact menu wording can vary a little by your device's OS version. The status will tell you whether the subscription is still active (and through which date) or already cancelled. View or change your plan

What if it really was a mistaken or unwanted charge?

It depends on who billed you. App Store and Google Play charges are refunded entirely by the store, at Apple's or Google's discretion; request the refund directly from the store that billed you. Website charges (the LINK.COM* NUTROLA ones) are different: the Nutrola team can refund those within 14 days of the charge, so email support@nutrola.app. How refunds work Can Nutrola support cancel my subscription or issue a refund?

If you wanted to stop future charges and aren't sure your cancellation went through, follow the cancellation steps for the place you subscribed and confirm the status shows as cancelled. Still not sure where the charge came from?

If you've checked your subscription status and it still doesn't add up, we're happy to help you trace it. Reach out and let us know the date of the charge and where it appeared: the App Store, Google Play, or a LINK.COM* NUTROLA line on your bank statement. How the 3-day free trial works
