How to report a bug

To report a bug in Nutrola, open Profile/Settings → Support & Legal → Contact us to start a chat with Sophia, our in-app support assistant. Tap Report a bug, describe what happened, attach a screenshot, then choose Talk to a human so the team gets your report. You can also email support@nutrola.app directly.

What details should I include?

Clear details help us reproduce and fix the issue quickly. When you describe the bug, try to include:

  • What happened and what you expected instead.
  • Steps to reproduce it, in order (for example, "Opened the logging menu, tapped Scan Barcode, scanned, the app froze").
  • A screenshot or screen recording, if you can capture one. It speeds things up a lot.
  • Your device and OS version (for example, "iPhone 14, iOS 17.4" or "Pixel 7, Android 14").
  • How often it happens: every time, or just once?

How do I send a bug report from the app?

  1. Open the Profile/Settings tab.
  2. Under Support & Legal, tap Contact us. This opens the in-app support chat with Sophia.
  3. Tap the Report a bug option (or just type what went wrong).
  4. Describe the problem. To add a screenshot, tap the paperclip (attachment) icon in the chat.
  5. When you're ready to send it to the team, choose Talk to a human.

When you ask to talk to a human, Nutrola creates a support ticket on its servers and emails your conversation (including any screenshots) to the support team. In most cases this happens in the background and no email app opens. If your device can't reach our servers at that moment, the app falls back to opening your mail app with a pre-filled message to support@nutrola.app, so just tap Send.

There is no "Support Email" button to look for. The contact path is always Contact us, which opens the chat.

Can I just email support instead?

Yes. You can email your bug details directly to support@nutrola.app from any mail app. Include the same information listed above so we can investigate without back-and-forth. We typically reply within about 24 hours.

Try a quick fix first
