Ingredients

  • fresh green beans

    3 cups · cut into 1-inch lengths

  • carrots

    2 · cut into thick strips

  • olive oil

    3 tablespoons

  • onion

    1 large · sliced

  • fresh mushrooms

    1 pound · sliced

  • lemon pepper seasoning

    1 teaspoon

  • garlic salt

    1/2 tablespoon

  • almonds

    1/4 cup · toasted, slivered

Instructions

    Wash hands with soap and water.

    Place green beans and carrots in 1 inch of boiling water. Cover, and cook until tender but still firm. Drain.

    Add oil to heated skillet. Sauté onions and mushrooms until almost tender. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 3 minutes.

    Stir in green beans, carrots, lemon pepper, garlic salt, and toasted almonds. Cover and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
