Ingredients

single-serving bags of green tea

frozen mixed berries
3 cups · ~16 ounces
bananas, peeled, cut in half and frozen
2 medium
fat-free plain Greek yogurt
1 cup
fresh grated peeled gingerroot
2 teaspoons · optional
vanilla extract
2 teaspoons · optional
chia or flax seeds
2 teaspoons · optional
Instructions

Wash hands with soap and water.

Add the water to a small saucepan. Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Remove the pan from the heat.

Add the tea bags. (Be sure the tea bags are submerged.) Let steep for 4 minutes. Discard the tea bags.

Let the tea mixture cool for 30 minutes. Pour into a water pitcher. Refrigerate for 2 hours, or until chilled.

In a food processor or blender, process the tea, berries, bananas, yogurt, gingerroot and vanilla until smooth.

Pour into four glasses. Sprinkle with the chia seeds.
