Ingredients
vegetable oil (or cooking oil of choice), divided
2 tablespoons
summer squash, thinly sliced
1 medium
water
1 tablespoon
salt and pepper

fresh basil

Wash hands with soap and water.

Using a large, oven-proof frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil on medium-high.

Arrange squash in pan, add water, and season lightly with salt, pepper, if using, and basil.

Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until tender crisp.
