  • unsalted butter

    1 1/2 teaspoons · or cooking oil of your choice

  • reduced-sodium peas, drained and rinsed (15 ounce cans or 16 ounces frozen peas)

    2 cans

  • lemon juice

    1 1/2 teaspoons

  • black pepper

    1/4 teaspoon

  • grated parmesan cheese

    1/3 cup

Instructions

    Wash hands with soap and water.

    Heat butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.

    Add peas and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until peas are heated through.

    Add lemon juice and pepper and mix well. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve warm.
