Ingrédients

  • 400 g Sauerkraut
  • 200 g Fresh cabbage
  • 200 g Smoked sausage (kielbasa)
  • 200 g Pork shoulder
  • 100 g Bacon
  • 20 g Dried mushrooms
  • 40 g Prunes
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 pieces Bay leaves
  • 4 pieces Juniper berries

Instructions

    Soak dried mushrooms. Dice bacon, pork, and sausage.

    Brown bacon and pork.

    Add sauerkraut, shredded fresh cabbage, soaked mushrooms, prunes.

    Add tomato paste, bay leaves, juniper. Cover with water.

    Simmer low 1.5 hours. It gets better the longer it cooks.
