Edit or delete a logged meal

In Nutrola, open a logged meal by tapping it on your home timeline, then edit or delete it from its detail screen. AI photo, voice, and text meals let you correct the calories, macros, or ingredients (or re-describe what you ate), while barcode products let you change the portion and unit. To delete one, tap the trash icon and confirm.

How do I edit a meal I already logged?

First, tap the meal on your home screen to open it. Where it opens, and what you can change, depends on how the meal was logged.

These open on the meal result screen. AI meals are stored on a fixed 100g basis, so there is no portion slider or serving-size field. Instead, correct the numbers directly:

Each of these edits updates your meal right away and saves to your account in the background. Barcode products

A meal you logged by scanning a barcode opens on the product details screen, which does have portion controls. Use the Measurement selector to switch between serving, g, oz, and package, then set the amount. For drinks, the volume units ml and fl oz appear instead of grams and ounces Logging drinks and liquids (ml / fl oz). The calories and macros recalculate live as you change the amount or unit.

How do I delete a meal?

You can remove a meal in two ways:

  • From the meal's detail screen: open the meal, tap the trash icon, then confirm in the Delete Meal dialog ("Are you sure you want to delete this meal? This action cannot be undone."). Tap Delete to remove it.
  • From the home timeline: swipe the meal card to the left and tap the trash button (or swipe it far enough and release) to delete it.

The meal disappears from your day immediately and your daily totals update right away. The change is also saved to your account, so it carries over the next time your other devices sync My data isn't syncing.

Do my edits and deletions sync to my other devices?

Yes. Edits and deletions are written to your Nutrola account in the background and show up on your other signed-in devices the next time they sync. Syncing happens on the next fetch rather than instantly, so allow a moment for another device to catch up Restore your data on a new device.
