How do I set my step, water, sleep, and calories-burned goals?

Last updated 27 juni 2026

In Nutrola, your step, water, sleep, and calories-burned goals are separate from your calorie and macro goals. Open the Profile tab, tap Personal Details, then scroll to the Daily Goals section. Tap Daily Step Goal, Daily Water Goal, Daily Sleep Goal, or Daily Calorie Burn Goal, enter a number, and save. Each one saves independently.

Where are these goals?

These four daily goals live in Personal Details, not in the calorie and macro screen.

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Under Account, tap Personal Details.
  3. Scroll down to the Daily Goals section.

You will see four cards: Daily Step Goal, Daily Water Goal, Daily Sleep Goal, and Daily Calorie Burn Goal. A card shows Not set until you give it a value.

How do I set each goal?

Tap any of the four cards to open a small input sheet, type your target, then tap Save. Each goal is saved on its own, so you can set one and leave the others alone.

  • Daily Step Goal: enter a step count (for example, 10,000).
  • Daily Water Goal: enter your daily water target. The unit follows your app's measurement setting, milliliters if you use metric or fluid ounces if you use imperial. See How do I switch between metric and imperial units? to change units, and How to track water intake for logging water.
  • Daily Sleep Goal: enter your target in hours (for example, 8).
  • Daily Calorie Burn Goal: enter a daily target in kcal. In Nutrola this covers calories burned from workouts, steps, and exercise logs. See Logging exercise and calories burned for how burns are tracked.

When you save, Nutrola updates the goal right away on your device and writes it to your account in the background. If the device is offline, the on-screen value still updates, so give it a moment to sync once you are back online.

These are not your calorie or macro goals

Your daily calorie and macronutrient (protein, carbs, fat) targets are managed separately, in the nutrition goals screen, not here in Daily Goals. To change those, see Change your calorie goal and macro targets, and for how Nutrola arrives at your starting numbers, see How does Nutrola calculate my starting calorie and macro goals?.

Can I clear a goal?

Yes. Setting a goal to 0 clears it, and the card goes back to showing Not set.
