- 2 medium Onions
- 3 medium Carrots
- 2 stalks Celery
- 300 ml Red wine
- 500 ml Beef broth
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 4 sprigs Fresh thyme
- 2 pieces Bay leaves
