Change your display name, username, or profile photo

In Nutrola, open the Profile tab and tap the card with your name and photo to open the Edit Name screen. There you can change your display name (up to 50 characters), set a public @username (3 to 20 characters), and tap your photo to take, choose, or remove an avatar. Your login email cannot be changed here.

How do I open the edit screen?

1. Go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap the card at the very top that shows your avatar and name.
3. The Edit Name screen opens, with your photo, name field, and account name field.
4. After making changes, tap Done to save. The button stays inactive until you have made a change and your name field is not empty.

How do I change my display name?

On the Edit Name screen, edit the field under Enter your name. Your name can be up to 50 characters. This is the name shown on your profile. A name is required, so you cannot save with this field empty. Tap Done to save.

How do I set or change my @username?

The field under Account name is your public @username. The rules are:

• 3 to 20 characters long.
• Lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores only (the field automatically lowercases what you type and drops other characters).
• It must be unique. If the one you pick is already in use, you will see "This account name is already taken", and you will need to choose a different one before you can save.

The on-screen hint reads: "Lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores. 3-20 characters." Tap Done to save.

How do I change or remove my profile photo?

1. On the Edit Name screen, tap your photo (or the circle with your initial if you don't have one yet).
2. A menu titled Change Photo appears with these options:
   • Take Photo (opens your camera).
   • Choose from Gallery (picks an existing image).
   • Remove Photo (this option only appears when you already have a photo).
3. The first time you use the camera or gallery, your device will ask for permission. If you deny it, Nutrola shows a Permission Required message and cannot access your camera or photos until you allow it.
4. When you pick or take a photo, you can crop it to a square before it is applied.
5. Tap Done to upload and save. Removing a photo sets your avatar back to the circle with your initial.

What about my login email?

Your display name, @username, and photo are all separate from the email address you use to sign in. You cannot change your login email from the Edit Name screen.
