How your email and account identity work

Your Nutrola account identity comes from the login method you chose at sign-up: Sign In with Apple, Continue with Google, or email with a 6-digit code. There is no in-app screen to change your email or login method on an existing account, so always sign in the same way you originally did. To update your contact email, email support directly.

How is my account identified?

Nutrola signs you in with one of these methods, and your account stays linked to whichever one you first used:

  • Sign In with Apple: Apple can hide your real email behind a private relay address (one ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com). This is normal, your account works fine, and you manage relay settings from your device's Apple ID settings, not inside Nutrola.
  • Continue with Google: Your account is linked to your Google account's email. (Google sign-in availability can depend on your device platform.)
  • Continue with Email: Your account is tied to the email address where you receive your 6-digit login code.

Can I change my email or login method in the app?

No. Nutrola does not have a setting to change the email address or switch the login method on an existing account. Because your data loads based on how you sign in, always use the same method you originally signed up with so your meals, goals, and history appear Restore your data on a new device. If signing in sends you back through onboarding or shows an empty account, you may have signed in with a different method Trouble signing in "Account not found" when signing in with your email code.

You can still update your display name, username, and photo in the app, which is separate from your login email Change your display name, username, or profile photo.

How do I update the email Nutrola uses to reach me?

If you need to change your contact email, or you have lost access to your original login method, contact support and tell us your situation and the email you would like us to use. There is no "Support Email" button in the app. Instead:

  • Email us directly at support@nutrola.app, or
  • In the app, open Profile/Settings, scroll to Support & Legal, and tap Contact us to open the in-app support assistant (a chat) How to contact us.

We typically reply within about 24 hours.

If you simply want to leave the app on this device without removing your account, you can sign out instead Log out without losing your data. Changing your email is not the same as deleting your account Delete your account and all data.
