Restore your data on a new device

Got a new phone or reinstalled Nutrola? There is no manual "restore" button to find. Your meals, profile, goals, streaks, and progress are stored in the cloud against your Nutrola account, so they come back once you sign in with the same login method you used before. Give the app a moment on a good connection and your data appears.
How do I get my data back on a new phone?
- Install Nutrola on the new device from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- On the welcome screen, tap Already have an account? Sign In.
- Sign in with the same method you used originally: Sign In with Email (we send a 6-digit code to your email), Sign In with Apple (iOS), or Sign In with Google (Android).
- Once you are signed in, Nutrola finds your account and syncs your data down from the cloud. Stay on Wi-Fi or a strong connection for a few moments.
That is it. Because your data is tied to your account and not to a single phone, you do not need to back anything up first.
Why use the same login method?
Nutrola looks up your saved data by the account you sign in with. If you originally signed up with email and then sign in with Apple or Google (or vice versa), Nutrola may treat that as a different account and walk you through onboarding again with no past data. To get your history back, sign out and sign back in using the original method.

What about my subscription?
Your Premium subscription is tied to your Apple ID (App Store) or Google account (Google Play), not to a single phone, and it is separate from your Nutrola sign-in. If Premium does not show up right away on the new device, open the paywall and use the restore option.

My data is still missing after signing in
First, double-check you used the same login method as before. If you did and your meals or progress still are not showing, it is usually a sync delay or connection issue rather than lost data.
- Confirm you have a stable internet connection and give it a minute.

Note that deleting your account is permanent and irreversible, so a deleted account cannot be restored by signing in again. See Delete your account and all data.
