Edit your birth date, gender, height, and units

In Nutrola, open the Profile/Settings tab and tap Personal Details (in the Account section) to update your gender, height, and unit system, along with your current weight and goal weight. Changing these details does not automatically recalculate your calorie or macro goals, which you adjust separately.

Where to find Personal Details

1. Open the Profile/Settings tab.
2. Under the Account section, tap Personal Details.
3. You will see a Basics group with the details you can edit, plus a Daily Goals group below it.

What you can edit in the Basics group

The Basics section lets you tap any row to change it:

• Current weight (also see How do I record a weigh-in and view my weight history in Nutrola?)
• Height
• Gender (choose Male, Female, or Other)
• Unit System (switch between Metric and Imperial)

Switching the unit system changes how measurements like weight and height are displayed (for example kg vs lbs); it is a display preference and does not change the underlying values you entered. For more on units, How do I switch between metric and imperial units?.

At the top of the same screen there is also a Goal Weight card with a Change Goal button How do I change my goal weight?, and a Daily Goals group where you can set your daily step, water, sleep, and calorie-burn targets How do I set my step, water, sleep, and calories-burned goals?.

How to change a detail

1. Tap the row you want to change (for example Height or Gender).
2. Adjust the value in the sheet that slides up.
3. Tap Save. Your change applies right away and is saved to your account.

Can I change my birth date or age?

There is currently no in-app field to edit your birth date or age on the Personal Details screen. If your birth date is wrong and you need it corrected, please reach out to support so we can help (see the contact options at the end of this article).

Will my calorie or macro goals change after I edit these?

No. Updating your weight, height, gender, or unit system does not automatically recalculate your daily calorie goal or your protein, carbs, and fat targets. Those targets stay as you last set them. To change them, edit them directly under Profile/Settings → Edit Nutrition Goals Change your calorie goal and macro targets. Changing your name, username, or profile photo

Those are managed on a different screen, not in Personal Details Change your display name, username, or profile photo.
