  • 200 g Red lentils
  • 2 large Onion
  • 2 tbsp Berbere spice
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 pieces Injera bread

    Slowly cook diced onion in oil until very dark, 15 min. No shortcuts.

    Add garlic, ginger, berbere. Cook 2 min.

    Add tomato paste, lentils, and water. Simmer 20 min.
