What is the 'We miss you' notification?

The "We miss you! 💚" push is Nutrola's inactivity nudge. It is sent from Nutrola's servers (not scheduled on your phone) when you have not logged a meal for a few days, roughly three or more. It only reaches you if Nutrola has a saved push token, and it arrives in your app language. Logging a meal stops it.
What does the notification say?
In English the title is "We miss you! 💚" and the message reads "It's been a few days since you logged a meal. Let's get back on track with your nutrition goals!" The same nudge is translated into other supported languages and delivered in whichever language your account is set to, so the wording you see may differ.
What triggers it?
Nutrola periodically checks for accounts that have gone quiet. If you have not logged a meal in about three or more days, you become eligible for the nudge. The exact day count is controlled on the server and may change over time, so treat "a few days" as approximate rather than an exact rule. Once you log another meal, you are no longer counted as inactive.
It is purely an inactivity reminder. It is not tied to your streak, your goals, or any specific action you took, and getting it does not mean anything is wrong with your account.
Why is it different from my other reminders?
Most of Nutrola's reminders (like meal and water reminders) are scheduled on your device. The "We miss you" nudge is different: it is a remote push sent from Nutrola's servers, so it can reach you even when the app has been closed for days. Why did I get it (or not get it)?
- You received it: Nutrola noticed a few days without a logged meal and had a valid push token for your device. The simplest way to stop these nudges is to log a meal again. See How to log a meal.
- You did not get it: Delivery depends on a saved push token, which Nutrola only stores after you grant notification permission. If notifications are turned off for Nutrola, the nudge cannot be delivered. See I tapped 'Don't Allow' on notifications - how do I fix it?.
Because delivery runs through the device push system and depends on your permission settings, exact timing is not guaranteed.
