How do I switch between metric and imperial units?

Nutrola lets you switch between metric (kg, cm, ml) and imperial (lbs, ft/in, fl oz) units from one place. Open the Profile tab, tap Personal Details, then tap the Unit System card, choose Metric or Imperial, and tap Save. Your weight, height, and water values then display and input in the units you picked.

Where is the unit setting?

The unit toggle lives in your personal details, not in a separate settings menu.

1. Open the Profile tab.
2. Under Account, tap Personal Details.
3. Find the Unit System card (it shows your current choice, "Metric" or "Imperial").
4. Tap it to open the chooser.
5. Select Metric ("Centimeters and kilograms") or Imperial ("Feet, inches, and pounds").
6. Tap Save. (Tap Cancel to leave it unchanged.)

This setting is the same on iOS and Android.

What changes when I switch?

Changing the unit system updates how Nutrola shows and accepts these values:

• Weight: kilograms (kg) in Metric, pounds (lbs) in Imperial. This applies when you log a weigh-in and view your weight history. How do I record a weigh-in and view my weight history in Nutrola?
• Height: centimeters (cm) in Metric, feet and inches (for example, 5'9") in Imperial.

It is a single app-wide preference, so you do not set units separately for each field. Switching does not change the actual stored amounts, only the units they are shown in, so your existing weight and height entries stay the same and simply appear converted.

Does saving sync across my devices?

When you tap Save, Nutrola updates the unit setting on your Nutrola profile, which is tied to your account rather than a single device. If your phone is offline or the save does not go through, the change may not be stored, so it is worth reopening Personal Details to confirm the Unit System card shows the option you picked.
