Signed out after reinstalling or switching phones
Last updated 17. August 2026
If you reinstalled Nutrola or got a new phone and the app now treats you like a new user, don't worry. Your account and your data are safe on our servers. You just need to reach the sign in screen again.
Get back to the sign in screen
The "Already have an account? Sign in" link only appears on the very first welcome screen, and it is easy to miss. If you have gone past it into the setup questions or all the way to the payment screen, here is how to get back to it:
- On iPhone: delete the Nutrola app, then install it again from the App Store. On the first screen, tap Already have an account? Sign in.
- On Android: open your phone's Settings, go to Apps, then Nutrola, then Storage, and tap Clear data. Open Nutrola again and tap Already have an account? Sign in on the first screen. Deleting and reinstalling the app also works.
Sign in with the same method you used before
Sign in with the exact same method you used when you first created your account (Apple, Google, or your email address). This part matters: signing in with a different method or a different email creates a brand new empty account, which is why it can look like your data is gone. Trouble signing in
If you signed in but Nutrola walks you through the setup questions again, you most likely used a different method than last time. Your original account is not lost. Signed in with Apple/Google but asked to set up again
After you sign in: getting Premium back
- If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play and the app still asks you to pay, tap Restore Purchases on that screen. Where is the Restore Purchases button?
- If you subscribed on our website, there is nothing to restore through the app stores. Signing in with the same email you used on the website unlocks Premium on its own.
Your meals, streaks, and progress sync back from the cloud a few moments after you sign in. Restore your data on a new device
Still locked out?
Tell us which sign in method you originally used (Apple, Google, or email) and the email address you signed up with, and we will find your account and get you back in. Email us any time at support@nutrola.app.
