Can Nutrola support cancel my subscription or issue a refund?

Last updated 2026. június 27.

No. Nutrola subscriptions are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google Play, so cancellations and refunds are handled by the store, not by Nutrola. The in-app support assistant is read-only: it cannot change your billing or account. It points you to the fastest route instead, your store's subscription settings to cancel, and Apple or Google to request a refund.

Why can't support just cancel or refund for me?

When you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, the store owns the billing relationship. Nutrola does not hold your card details, charge you, or process refunds, so it has no way to reverse a charge or stop a renewal from its side. The in-app support assistant (Sophia) is designed as a read-only helper: it answers questions and links you to the correct page, but it cannot perform actions on your account or your payment.

The one exception is account deletion, which you do yourself in the app. Note that deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, so you still need to cancel that separately in your store. Delete your account and all data

How to cancel your subscription

Support will direct you to your store. You can do this yourself:

iOS (App Store)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Nutrola, then Cancel Subscription.

You keep Premium until the end of the current billing period. Cancel your subscription on iPhone or iPad

Android (Google Play)

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Nutrola, then Cancel subscription.

Exact device-settings paths can vary slightly by OS version. Cancelling stops future renewals, but it does not refund past charges. I was charged after cancelling

How to request a refund

Refunds are decided entirely by Apple or Google, not by Nutrola. Support will point you to the right place based on where you bought your plan.

Bought on iPhone or iPad (App Store)

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in.
  2. Tap "I'd like to", then "Request a refund".
  3. Choose a reason, then Next.
  4. Select your Nutrola purchase, then Submit.

Apple decides all refund outcomes.

Bought on Android (Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile icon.
  2. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history.
  3. Find your Nutrola purchase and tap Report a problem.
  4. Choose your situation and submit the form.

Google decides all refund outcomes.

What if I subscribed on the web?

If you subscribed directly on the Nutrola website (not through a store), the Nutrola team handles that refund. In that case the support assistant passes your request along to the team so they can sort it out. You can also email support@nutrola.app directly.

What support can and can't do

  • Can: answer billing questions, show you the exact steps to cancel, link you straight to Apple's or Google's refund pages, and pass a web-purchase refund request to the team.
  • Can't: cancel your plan for you, reverse or refund a charge, or change your account or payment details directly.

If you want to talk to a person, the assistant can put together an email to the Nutrola team with your conversation. They typically reply within about 24 hours. What happens when I ask to talk to a human in support chat Using the in-app support chat (Sophia)
