Log out without losing your data

To sign out of Nutrola, open the Profile/Settings tab, scroll to the Account Actions section, and tap Logout. Logging out signs you out and clears Nutrola's data from this device, but your account and cloud data stay saved. Everything restores when you sign back in with the same method. This is not the same as deleting your account.

How do I log out of Nutrola?

  1. Open the Profile/Settings tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Account Actions section.
  3. Tap Logout.
  4. A confirmation appears asking "Are you sure you want to logout?" Tap Yes, log out.

After you confirm, Nutrola returns you to the sign-in screen so you (or someone else on this device) can sign in fresh.

Will I lose my data if I log out?

No. Logging out keeps the data Nutrola stores in your account. When you sign out, the app clears the locally saved copy from this device (meals, streak, weight history, notifications, and similar on-device state), but your account records stay in the cloud. When you sign back in with the same sign-in method, your saved progress restores.

To get your data back, sign in again with the same method you used before (the same Apple, Google, or email sign-in). Each sign-in method is treated as its own account, so signing in a different way can land you in a different, empty account. Restore your data on a new device Trouble signing in

How is logging out different from deleting my account?

They are very different actions, and they sit next to each other in Account Actions:

  • Logout signs you out of this device only. Your account and cloud data are kept, and you can sign back in anytime to restore them.
  • Delete Account ("Delete Account") is designed to permanently remove your account and the data Nutrola stores. It is irreversible: the in-app warning says "This action cannot be undone." Deleting your account also does not cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription, so cancel that separately if you have one. Delete your account and all data

If you only want a break or want to switch accounts, choose Logout, not Delete Account.

A note about your subscription

Logging out signs you out of premium on this device. If you log back in with the same account, your access returns. If premium does not unlock after signing back in, make sure you are on the same account you purchased with, and use Restore Purchases on the paywall. Want to change your details instead?

If your goal is just to update your name, username, or photo rather than sign out, you can do that without logging out. Change your display name, username, or profile photo
